JadeyCakes Homemade

JadeyCakes hired me for a total rebrand. During our initial meeting we made a couple of sketches, decided on colours and what exactly was needed.

The main trait in Jades cupcakes is the iconic topper that you'll find in every box! So it seemed clear that the brand needed to centre around that.

The logo and sub logo were first and everything grew from there. The business cards were kept fairly basic as we wanted the loyalty cards to be the main attraction.

Loyalty cards weren't part of the initial package but after looking at Jades social media I suggested that they may be beneficial for her. As it turns out Jade was thinking the same and posted a poll on her socials to see what her customers thought. There was a a massive and positive response so I knew they needed to be something special. So together we discussed the best way for it work, e.g. how many stickers do you need, what's the rewards and so on then got to work.

For the theme I went with baking equipment to really highlight just how much goes in to making a finished product. After all anyone can make a cupcake, but few can make them as good as these. That is the message I wanted to share with this design. Wonderfully the sub logo worked perfectly as a sticker!

Finally, I put together a brand board as Jade wanted to be able to put her own flyers together in the future. It details how I got the sparkle effect she wanted plus the fonts and colours used.

To summarise this package included, a logo and sub logo/sticker, a business card, a loyalty card, a Facebook header and profile picture a brand mood board plus analysis to determine the proper pricing and structure of the loyalty programme.
